Turnaround Times

We create everything to order; the current turnaround time is approx. 4-10 business days for custom orders.

For non-custom items (non-personalised, birth announcements, etc) we will generally ship within 3 business days.

Please note during busy periods - Christmas, Mother’s Day & Father’s Day etc, it can take a little longer to process your order. Each piece is carefully created by hand and we appreciate your patience. We will update our busy period turnaround times on our social media page/dm. Feel free to contact us if you have any queries. 

Shipping

Every order comes with tracking which you will receive once the order has been shipped.  

Express Postage – Currently we only offer Express postage option since we have relocated to WA. Once your order is complete and it gets shipped it will typically arrive to you within 3 days. 

How should I hang my piece?

We recommend using 3M wall strips or hooks, particularly on the slightly larger or heavier items like the double layered mirrors or Birth plaques. You can also opt to use blue tac, but be sure to use it a good amount as our pieces are quite fragile.

Please note that Design Society is not responsible for any assembly issues, installation errors or wall/paint damage that may occur when mounting or displaying our products.

What type of pen should I use on the wood?

We recommend a fine permanent marker or ball point pen - black usually works best!

Breakages

We do our best to carefully pack your orders, but sometimes they do get damaged in shipping, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with a photo and we will arrange to send another out to you. Our pieces are very very fragile so please handle with care; we cannot accept responsibility for breakages once they have arrived safely and beyond 24hour timeframe of notifying us.
