About Design Society

Design has always been my passion since I was a little girl, I would sit for hours and hours just drawing and painting. These days being creative is my outlet, and I pinch myself everyday that i'm able to combine my passion with my business -creating beautiful keepsakes for you and your loved ones.

I've worked as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator for over 15 years (wow, that makes me feel a little old)! But I had always dreamed of starting up my own creative business and when design work went a little quiet during lockdown in 2020, I decided to finally make it happen with Design Society (formerly Paper Society).

I began offering custom portraits, specialty custom prints and Baby's First Portrait Prints. However, after having my third baby, we made a huge decision to pivot the business a little and venture into the world of laser cut products! 

Every piece is thoughtfully designed, manufactured and carefully packaged by me, myself and I, (with a little extra help called in when necessary - oh and we also get some help from our precious laser machine!)
